Lightweight, Durable, Customizable & High Precision 3K Carbon Fiber Tube
High precision tubes are laminated from high-quality carbon fibres and epoxy (prepreg) with a ’twill’ fabric outer layer. The carbon fibres are placed in two directions (0° and 90°) in the core. This ensures the tube has optimal strength and stiffness, and low weight. In addition, these tubes have a highly accurate outer diameter of +/- 0,1 mm. The tubes are cut to size and have no coating. They offer the same excellent mechanical properties as the High Performance tubes.
The tubes are available in several diameters in lengths of 1000 and 2000mm. The carbon tubes can be cut to size on request. We can also provide post-processing services such as drilling and CNC milling.
We label our products as industrial-grade quality. They are designed with a focus on mechanical performance, not on aesthetic appearance or visual-grade quality. Small pinholes or irregularities in the twill weave (pattern) can occur, which are a result of the production process and the manual finishing of the products.
Carbon fiber is a new type of fiber material with high strength and high modulus of carbon content of more than 95%. It is composed of organic fibers such as flake graphite microcrystals piled up along the axial direction of the fiber. The microcrystalline stone ink material obtained by carbonization and graphitization is a composite material. The strength is more than 4 times that of aluminum alloy.
Carbon fiber is mainly composed of carbon elements, with a loss of the characteristics of carbon materials, such as high temperature resistance, friction resistance, electrical, thermal, and corrosion resistance, but unlike general carbon materials, its shape has significant anisotropy, soft, can be processed into a variety of fabrics.
